Please take a moment to read through the following policies, applicable to all those who participate in Perfect Pals Dog Training sessions.
COVID-19
Perfect Pals will follow the state guidelines for COVID-19 procedures and masks. If you would like me to wear a mask during private training sessions, that can be arranged. Private sessions can be held outdoors whenever possible and when weather permits.
Packages, Scheduling & Payments
Upon purchase of a package, payment must be made in full unless otherwise arranged with Perfect Pals. Sessions in a package expire after 180 days.
Upon purchase of a consultation or session, payment must be made in full unless otherwise arranged with Perfect Pals Dog Training. These expire after 180 days.
After scheduling a consultation or behavior coaching package, the intake form must be filled out completely before we meet.
The scheduling calendar on the website will be kept up to date but is subject to change. If a conflict arises, Perfect Pals Dog Training will contact via email or phone to reschedule.
Perfect Pals Dog Training takes payment through Stripe and PayPal, all paid through the booking page on the Perfect Pals Dog Training Website.
Please allow 15 minutes of buffer time after your scheduled session starts to account for traffic, delays and emergencies.
Cancellation/Refund Policy
24 hours notice prior to your session appointment is required for all cancellations unless otherwise discussed with Perfect Pals Dog Training. Understanding that emergencies and life happens, so I will be as flexible as can be, please just reach out.
If a package is purchases and we have decided we are not the right fit or you would not like to complete the sessions in the package, you will be refunded for the unused sessions. If I choose to terminate package, Perfect Pals will cover the Stripe or PayPal refund service fee. If client decides to terminate package or to not complete package, the client will be responsible for Stripe or PayPal refund service fee.
Missed Sessions and No Shows
If sessions are missed and there is no communication of why there was a no show, there will not be refunds.
Virtual Training Sessions Policy
If participating in virtual training, Perfect Pals will ask if they have permission to record the session so they can share with the client or use as video examples. Please let us know at the beginning of the session if you would not like it recorded.
Perfect Pals has the right to change applicable in-person sessions into virtual sessions if the weather or COVID causes us not to be able to meet in person.
Email/Phone/Text/Social Media Support
Please allow 48 hours for emails, texts, calls and social media messages to be returned. Most responses will be returned via email.
Health
Dogs that are sick or recovering from an injury, illness or surgery should not participate in private training until fully healthy. We can adjust the schedule or postpone until your dog is ready.
Dogs are required to be up to date on all their vaccines. You do not need to bring or send a copy of these vaccines but should be able to provide proof if needed.
Bite History
If there is a bite history (dog to dog or dog to human), this must be disclosed in writing in the intake form or in an email prior to the first session.
Children
Children are encouraged to be a part of the training sessions. If under the age of 16, children must be supervised so we can prevent any injuries while training.

The below equipment will not be permitted while training with Perfect Pals Dog Training. If you continue to work with the below equipment, we will terminate the package and refund for any unused sessions. If you are currently using the below equipment, Perfect Pals will help create a plan to discontinue the use of these items.

Photo, Video, Promotions & Social Media
Perfect Pals Dog Training often takes photos and videos that may be used for promotions or social media (Instagram). If you do NOT wish to have your photos posted or used, then you must mark that in the intake form or written out in an email.
Behavior Change Policy
There are no guarantees or quick fixes for behavior change. Time, patience and commitment is essential in behavior modification. Time is needed for long term change and could take many months of committed work and focus to see any change. Training plans are not set and can be adjusted as the process continues.
